‘Fools’ is a unique shop, set in the heart of the community in Upminster. It’s not a traditional ‘Bible’ bookshop, nor is it just a friendly café, but a resource centre run by Christians for the benefit of the whole community. There’s an eclectic mix of people, items for sale, great food & drink, and a special atmosphere where everyone can find a welcome, acceptance, rest and refreshment. |
What we sell Our stock of Christian material is held on two floors. Popular books, magazines, CDs & DVDs, greetings cards, wrapping paper and gifts are on the ground floor, whilst Bibles, children’s books and specialist Christian resources for churches, R.E. lessons, and youth groups are on the first floor. Our refreshment area, used equally by the casual shopper and as a meeting place for local Christians, serves home-made cakes, snacks, and a wide range of good quality teas, coffees & hot chocolate (until 4pm). Situated just a few minutes walk from Upminster Station, this is a popular place to shop, browse or simply relax. Our friendly and efficient staff will help you find a suitable gift, order resources in bulk, or track down something difficult to find elsewhere. |
